and there’s this show where these brothers help people find a house to buy then renovate the home to make it a real dream home…all within the people’s usually unreasonably small budget.
In this episode, the people spend $10,000 more than they want to on a fixer-upper and the house ends up being a disaster.
I would be so pissed if I was those people! Being pushed into buying a home that could literally explode in the attic! Having to completely restructure the house and insulate it! The cost is $10,000 more than they wanted!
That’s a total of $20,000! Of extra money to spend! I could live on that for a year if I had to!

I haven’t seen that one. They usually do an amazing job with highly demanding and unrealistic couples. I guess they were bound to fail at some point.
